? If it wasnt you really need to take that baby to a machine shope WHO KNOWS WHAT THEY'RE DOING and let them shave that top off, plus it will take that chip out some. If its not machined flat on a mill you cant say its flat because machining can bring stuff to such tight tolerance its crazy. I use to be a machinist and you can cut stuff so there is no variances more then a human hair. Good luck man but you better be safe and do it right now instead of having problems later.
